OVERVIEW
Matt counsels clients on patent prosecution, patent validity, due diligence investigations, freedom to operate, assertion, and litigation matters. His practice covers a diverse range of electronic, software, and mechanical technologies.
Clients appreciate his diverse experience in research, development, and production operations. Prior to becoming an attorney, Matt’s over a decade of engineering experience included using new metal deposition technologies to repair aerospace parts for the U.S. Navy, developing software to process video data and create simulation models, and advocating STEM careers to elementary school students.
Outside of work, Matt and his wife (a fellow attorney) enjoy visiting new places and learning about foreign cultures. He also enjoys sailing, photography, and brewing beer.
