The New York office of Haley Guiliano is located at 75 Broad Street in the Financial District. The building is a fitting location for an intellectual property law firm, as it was built in the 1920s as the headquarters of The International Telephone & Telegraph Corporation. A mural commissioned by IT&T depicting an angel uniting the hemispheres with communication still graces the building:
Later, during World War II, the building played a key role in Navy communications with submarines in the Atlantic Ocean. And it is believed that in the 1960s, the Washington-Moscow “hotline” ran through the building.
Today, the building, which houses trendy, industrial-style office space, sits among a mix of new and historic commercial and residential buildings close to parks, taverns and restaurants, just a short walk from the East River and New York Harbor.
