OVERVIEW
Jasmine Lau is an engineer by training with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley’s College of Engineering. She holds certificates in both Design Innovation from the Jacob’s Institute in Design Innovation and in Entrepreneurship from the Sutardja Dai Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology. Jasmine was also a fellow at the Berkeley Center for Law and Business at Berkeley Law, and studied Chinese LanguageĀ and Literature at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Jasmine’s expertise covers a wide range of technology from algorithms, computer security, artificial intelligence, machine learning, DBMS, and fintech, to hardware, SOC design, signal processing, and industrial engineering. Her background brings deep technical understanding to both software and hardware patents. Before joining the firm, Jasmine worked in research and consulting. She also has experience working on projects in Python, Java, C, SQL, assembly, RISC-V, Scheme, Kotlin, and Android.
In her free time, Jasmine likes to sail in the San Francisco Bay.
Jasmine enjoys being on the water and often go sailing on the weekends.
She also spends a lot of her time repairing and fixing up old sports cars.
