Dan’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and counseling. He has experience preparing and prosecuting patents in a broad range of technologies, including software, audio systems, wireless communications, vehicle systems, and mechanical devices and systems. Leveraging his experience in patent prosecution and patent portfolio management, Dan helps clients turn their ideas into protectable intellectual property with real commercial value and develop patent strategies that align with their business goals. Prior to joining the firm, Dan spent eight years practicing patent prosecution in a variety of technical areas, split between two Chicago-based law firms.
Outside of protecting his client’s intellectual property, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
