OVERVIEW
Sarayu joined HG as a Technical Advisor in 2026, bringing experience in computer technology and emerging artificial intelligence applications. Prior to joining the firm, Sarayu worked in industry as an Associate Software Developer, where she supported certifiable ground control station deployment improvements for remotely piloted aircraft systems, and as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, where she optimized customer feedback data pipelines.
A graduate of UC San Diego, Sarayu earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering & Biology with a Specialization in Bioinformatics, with a minor in Studio Art. Sarayu also holds a M.S. in Computer Science with a Specialization in Artificial Intelligence. Her master’s thesis involved the design and development of an agentic information retrieval system for electronic health records to assist physicians with clinical decision- making. This exposure to novel AI technologies and their real-world impact drew her to a career in patent law. At HG, Sarayu looks forward to leveraging her interdisciplinary background to help clients protect complex innovations in a rapidly-evolving technical landscape. Outside of work, she enjoys oil painting and spending time outdoors.
