OVERVIEW
Jovanni joined HG in 2026 as a Technical Advisor after earning his M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). Throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies, he built a strong foundation in semiconductor device electronics, optics, and photonics.
Prior to HG, Jovanni was an electrical test engineering intern helping troubleshoot satellite systems. As a graduate researcher with the UCSC Applied Optics Group, Jovanni contributed to projects advancing solid-state nanopore signal analysis, work that deepened his experience in neural networks and FPGAs. Driven by a genuine curiosity for how technologies are developed and protected, he brings both technical depth and a passion for innovation to the world of IP law. Leveraging his skills in technical communication, Jovanni looks to learn and help bridge the gaps between engineering and law.
