OVERVIEW
Catherine Keough is a long-term Engineer turned Patent Agent with a depth and breadth of experience across medical devices, life sciences, and manufacturing technologies. She holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering in Engineering Management with a Certificate in Data Exploration and Visualization for Risk and Decision Making. For over ten years she had worked on the design and development of products and processes including: ureteroscopes, cell culture media, stents & stent delivery systems, clean rooms, packaging, sterilization, orthopedic implants, intra-aortic balloon pumps, automated cryogenic storage systems utilizing RFID traceability, and various labwares. She has worked in environments spanning fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and family-owned businesses. Her experience innovating in a regulated space across these environments provides understanding and attention to detail necessary to successfully navigate patent prosecution before the USPTO for a diverse array of inventors.
