Tony Arpin joined Haley Guiliano in 2019 as an associate in the intellectual property group. Tony’s practice includes all aspects of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Tony also has experience in post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Prior to joining Haley Guiliano, Tony was a patent attorney at an intellectual property boutique firm in Washington D.C, which included a secondment to a partner firm in Tokyo. At the beginning of his career, Tony worked as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Tony has experience in a multitude of technologies which include consumer electronics, digital imaging devices, software and other network-based technologies, electrical and medical devices, audio and video processing, and display devices.
Outside of work, you can usually find Tony on the water (he has only sunk one boat), and he has his sights set on conquering kiteboarding.
Best to go with a running start.
