Michael joined the IP profession in 2017 after completing a doctorate in materials science and chemistry.  Michael’s PhD research focused on the organic synthesis and the electronic characterisation of new semiconducting polymers for organic transistors and solar cells.

Michael has experience in patent prosecution and drafting, strategic portfolio management and oppositions at the EPO in a number of technical fields including chemical compositions, construction materials, UAVs, and energy recovery systems for automotive and power generation applications.
