Kamaldeep is primarily focused on managing intellectual property assets of prominent Silicon Valley companies. This involves preparation and prosecution of patent applications for clients on a wide range of technologies. In particular specialty, Kamaldeep has particular experience in distributed networking (e.g., controller architecture, software-defined networking, and 4G/5G standards), human interface systems (e.g., user interface (UI) systems, application level UI, and virtualization UI), and social networking (e.g., node based communication based on various social graphs and implementation of application on top of social networks). In addition to patent prosecution, he aids patent attorneys conduct pre-litigation analysis and investigations relating to IP transactions.
Kamaldeep has prior experience developing international patent portfolios for clients as counsel in Canada. Kamaldeep received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Carleton University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa (Canada) and is experienced with counseling clients with regards to Canadian patent prosecution.
