Alex, a qualified European and French patent attorney, joined Haley Guiliano in 2020 after having worked leading IP law firms in London and France for the past several years.
His experience and studies enable him to successfully navigate diverse technical fields such as mechanical engineering, applied physics and mathematics, and computer science. He enjoys collaborating with staff from multinational companies, SMEs, individuals and academic institutions – each of them having different respective IP needs.
Over The years, Alex has developed expertise in patent drafting and prosecution with particular emphasis before the European Patent Office (EPO) and before patent offices in France, the U.S., Japan, and China. Alex has also been involved in opposition proceedings before the EPO as well as in patent litigations, particularly before the French jurisdictions.
He also takes pleasure in creating IP case studies which replicate potential real-life situations, to raise awareness amongst professionals and students about what is at stake with intellectual property rights.
